When
we started our project people asked us "What will the performance
venue look like?" At that stage we had no real picture in our minds.
Then one of our volunteer consultants, Peter Floyd, introduced us to Pat
Collins, an architect and artist. He helped us to imagine what the building
might look like. He painted two pictures, which are sketches of what he
imagined as we talked about the activities which would take place in the
venue.
This was his idea
of the outside of such a building … and
he then added a foyer inside such a building..
